Spiders Run and tap on the floor with a clang. A distant breath around us, a cold environment, a basement disused wet. The breath stops, the low hum suddenly. Then the soft melody, distant concern.
is the way I like dubstep. Rugged, atmospheric, deep.
I know you've been waiting eagerly following the saga of our guest Fred, who I Can you confirm that income is not free from his Berlin years. It held to share with us after his adventures, and decorate again a mix (which productivity !)...
In the corridors of time.
Not far from Berghain , Artemus Gordon sharpens his spurs and his throat to take us in his favorite saloon (and now closed): the sublime Bar 25 , sort of reminiscent of hippie outcome a meeting between Dr. Albert Hoffman , Arlette Gruss and Hunter S. Thompson : The jewel of the big circus.
Here anything goes (for those who have seen "Berlin Calling" , Paul Kalkbrenner plays the doctor in the toilet with a little girl Catholic), and time really stops, it backs itself: Doc Brown installs boomers and take you in Delorean among American Indians. You discover with amazement an equivalent of the Buffalo Grill but well, all on the bottom of groovy minimal and well beyond the opening hours of clubs traditionally observed on the planet.
In this arena who grows up to western culture in its font, you see freaks, ravers, people smart, and above all amuse you join in as a kid on the swing euphoric over the Spree , the river running through Berlin. Opposite, you will perceive the Dice (the cube) , which is aptly named and distills a minimal scene pointed to Marc Houle .
Bar 25
Schlesisches Tor: To infinity and beyond ...
The next day, little rest as it retreats to the Jumanji towards one of the best clubs in the city of Curry-Wurst : the Watergate .
Posted on the banks of the Spree , with its ceiling of LEDs and its incredible stained glass windows where the sun comes hard in the retina at dawn, I could savor the Traktor Pro Launch Party with Pan Pot, Butane , Matthew Dear and Troy Pierce back to back and above all a never ending mix of Richie Hawtin attached to the DJ Booth - which helps a lot to understand how it operates its software and its Traktor Allen And Heath 92 custom (thank you Dad) and especially watch the parade of DJs / producers that come to him tap on the shoulder ... For those who wish to play "Where's Waldo?" an overview of the evening here:
Other landmark night, the one passed in Lido (no, nothing to do with tits swirling and ostrich feathers from the Champs Elysees ... though). We saw the live New Yorkers acclaimed Madonna herself: Fischerspooner ! Linking surreal choreography with a mini-troupe of dancers, flashy costumes competition, face painting to Ziggy Stardust great time ... ah bin if in fact it looks like the Lido de Paris.
;-) That said, their live is amazing, the videos are perfect for choreography and scenic emerges a rare power of their performance. Sincerely BRAVO.
As it is still early, pushing our carcasses up and mysterious phantomatique Club der Visionäre . For me and for a lot of other people, this place should be renamed "Paradise on Earth, "but this is subjective. To get an idea, imagine Huckleberry Finn would be German, sleepless but still relaxed, eat pizza and listen to deep house: a small brick hut, the waterfront at the foot of gorgeous weeping willows, open almost all the time, a pizza maker built (yes, really!) mini dj booth stashed to avoid focusing on all the time / the dj who plays all the best and the mixing time coming almost for free.
